About me

Achieving transformational outcomes in lives, careers and relationships.

Bio pic_CD2.jpeg

I made the transition to coaching after a 20-year career working across a range of roles and industries globally. I now work as a full time professional coach and split my time between client sessions and training leaders in coaching skills.

Since 2017 I've developed my coaching practice through word-of-mouth referral from individuals who have experienced significant transformation and achievement through our work together. Every client is unique, and I've supported people in many different areas of focus and challenge across their professional and personal lives.

Coaching is a partnership from the outset and I take the time to develop the level of trust which is essential for the types of conversation that underpin transformative change. My clients often comment on my warm and fun approach to our work together and the positive impact this has on their ability to open up and be completely honest with themselves.

I champion individuals to aim high and exceed their expectations while also challenging them with respect and compassion to overcome flawed thinking patterns, subconscious assumptions or limiting beliefs that prevent clarity and progress. I bring an invigorating level of energy, curiosity, and humour to my work and skilfully hold the space for exceptional independent thinking to unfold.

When working with clients I may offer tools or frameworks to support their progress, such as theories from contemporary neuroscience, for example, which can enable individuals to understand and adapt their mindset to achieve significant, sustainable change. I use a systemic approach when coaching, and may also offer mapping and constellations exercises to support individuals, teams, and those in professional or personal relationships to work through patterns of stuck and unhelpful behaviours.

I am able to connect with people from diverse cultural, social, and professional contexts engage with clients at all levels with confidence, credibility, and impact.  clients often mention my warm and fun approach to our work together.

Training and Supervision

I'm certified as a professional coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation and completed a Postgraduate Certification in personal and business coaching with Chester University and Barefoot Coaching in 2017.

I dedicate substantial time and resources to ongoing education, personal development, and supervision with respected industry experts to stay at the forefront of the latest coaching techniques and teachings. I’m especially interested in contemporary neuroscience for coaching and have attended training delivered by individuals including Amanda Blake, Richard Boyatzis, Dan Siegel and Lisa Feldmann Barrett. I've trained in-person in systemic coaching and constellations with John Whittington, and also study practises underpinned by Nancy Klein's Thinking Environment.

I integrate the most current research, theories, and tools from these fields into my work, ensuring my clients benefit from new and innovative approaches that foster profound growth and transformation.

Before Coaching

Curiosity, exploration and a desire for new experiences have always inspired my choices in life, leading to a wonderfully varied and very much non-linear career over the years.

On graduating University, I left the UK to study languages and subsequently spent 20 years overseas, living and working across 11 countries. During this period I held various leadership roles in multinational organisations in a number of industries, before spending several years as a founder, director and consultant for start-up organisations in Scandinavia and the UK.

Before training as a professional coach, I took an opportunity to combine my experience in business and entrepreneurship with a growing interest in the third sector, collaborating with some of the UK’s most notable business leaders, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to raise philanthropic investment for multimillion-pound initiatives in life-saving research and healthcare.

I'm currently based in the UK and split my time between London and Sheffield, on the edge of the Peak District. When not working, I love spending time hiking in the Peaks, reading and listening to anything in Spanish to keep up my language skills, and continuing to support inspiring and impactful work in the third sector. I've also just taken up running again after a 20 year hiatus - debating if I have a marathon in me - never too late as they say!
